U7s & U8’s Trophy Event
Sunday 22nd November will see the North Wilts Youth Football League host their first Trophy Event of the season at the Swindon Futsal Centre. The event will be held over 3 sessions with all of the teams competing from the U7 and U8 age groups.
Whilst the indoor venue allows the younger players to keep dry and warm, more importantl the format of Futsal will enable the players to focus of slightly different aspects of the game, with a big increase on the number touches of the ball, which is paramount in players of this age. All teams will be guaranteed the maximum playing time permitted by FA rules, which is 40 min, that will either be 4x10min games or 3x13min games, depending on your group.
The session running order is as follows:
- U7 start 9:30am finish 11:15am
- U8 session 1 start 12:15pm finish 2:00pm
- U8 session 2 start 2:30pm finish 4:00pm

All group winners will receive trophies.
