Bookings are now open for The FA Referee course on the Wiltshire FA website The FA Basic Referee Course – Wiltshire FA.
The FA Referee Course is designed to equip new referees with the key skills and knowledge they will need to be able to referee grassroots football matches safely and effectively. It is for people aged 14 and over who want to referee 9 v 9 and/or 11 v 11 football.
NWYFL are pleased to confirm that the rebate program will once again run for the 21/22 season. The league will reimburse the referee 50% of the cost of the FA course (£115) once the referee has overseen 6 NWYFL matches. As an added incentive to encourage new referees to continue in their refereeing journey, the remaining 50% course cost will be reimbursed after a further 10 matches, at least one of which must be in the following season.

Wiltshire FA has also confirmed to the league that if there is sufficient interest they will hold an additional course in Swindon. Therefore, if the above courses become full but you are interested please email ella.broad@wiltshirefa.com to register your interest, stating your preferred location.
