Mini Soccer Festival In Memory of Harry Parker

Dear Friends

I would like to invite you to our annual mini festival which will take place on Saturday the 5th of September 2026. This Year we have decided to commit to a date to allow people to get organised in advance

This year we have also adapted the festival to coincide with the Football association future fit program.

The Festival is open to Under 7, under 8 and Under 9 and Under 10 teams appropriate to 2026 – 2027 Season, This year due the large numbers of teams waiting to receive medals at the end of last year’s event, we will have a staggered start, with age groups starting from 1pm to 1.45pm.

Games for under 7 will be 3 v 3 on the smaller pitches with Games lasting 15 minutes with squad sizes of a maximum of 5. Under 8 and under 9 format will be 5 a side with a squad size of maximum of 8 Games lasting 15 minutes. Under 10 will be 7 v 7 format with a maximum squad size of 10 with games lasting 15 minutes.

Normal mini soccer rules will apply to all of the age groups

For those teams that are looking to jump age groups to get into either 5 a side or 7 a side please note this on your application, i.e. entered at under 8 but Under 7 team

Each player will receive a momentum of the day. As with last year we will also provide a trophy for each team to award the Harry Parker Player of the tournament, selected in any way or format you wish for your team.

Harry’s Parents, Kelly and Adam will be on hand to assist with the presenting the awards at the end of your fixtures. Harry was a fun loving child and the whole ethos of the day is fun, therefore no scores are recorded, we trust you to bring the correct aged players and create a good environment for everyone involved.

The Cost to enter will be £40 per team and will be on a first come first serve basis, if you wish to enter please email me on Smorgie121@gmail.com or What’s app on 07476 475777 to reserve a place. Then complete the below form to book and confirm your place.

Once we have confirmed your Entry we will advise the bank details to pay your entry fee.

The closing date for entries will be August the 14th 2026, however we do get full rather quickly, so please don’t hesitate in reserving spaces.

On the afternoon of the tournament we will charge an entry fee per adult, which we will advise prior to the event. There will be the normal hot and cold refreshments, and an ice cream van available.
